Hi! I have never played innebandy before but lots of experience with street hockey and was an ice hockey goalie for 10 yrs. Is there any specific equipment I would need to join/play?

All you need is a stick.They are sold online and someone said that a hockey rink in MD sold them. A significant vendor is Floorball Planet in Texas. We get 10% off with code DCINNEBANDY. On Amazon there is a brand called Accufli from Canada that ships with Prime.

If you want to try it out you can borrow a stick but "shoot right" sticks are not readily available, so you should ask first if that's the case.
